The first tenement house from the market square is Tryblowska, which was built in the mid-fourteenth century at the latest. Rebuilt in the 16th century. At the end of that century it belonged to Jan Tenendus - the bookseller of King Stefan Batory. In the early twentieth century, it was demolished by the new owner with the intention of building a hotel here. The present building was erected according to the design of Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz, commissioned by the Viennese insurance company "Feniks".
