The history of Hamilton May began in 2004 in Krakow. At that time, we worked mainly with foreign investors on the Polish real estate market. The website known until yesterday was created exactly a decade later, in 2014. At the time of its premiere, it had all the elements of an innovative real estate website: an optimized search engine, convenient categories, the ability to create a property basket, and a number of content pages with insights on the local market.
Both the market and our scale of operations have changed since 2014, but one thing has remained unchanged - our costant drive to stay ahead.
We started the process at the end of 2021 with a thorough research on the Clutch service to engage the best branding agency in Poland.
As a result of the five-day branding and UX workshops, we developed a key visual for Hamilton May, based on three keywords:
- a map as a guide to your destination,
- a wood, for its timelessness,
- a technology, as an effective tool in our work.
We have introduced modern typography and refreshed the logotype. We decided to use a darker background color that suits the mature brand and the map theme combined with a wood texture.
In the next step we have spent weeks to design every single page view. Contrary to many companies on the market, we have never decided to use ready-made templates, and every element of the website was created by a team of designers and UX specialists.
With the support of SEO auditors and the work of internal copywriting team, we have created fully original content that both brings value to the user and can be easily found on Google.
